Affordable Roofing primarily uses Owens Corning asphalt shingles. Premium/upgraded shingles are also available at an additional cost. Upon request, metal roofs can also be installed. 

Absolutely. Most insurance carriers may provide premium discounts if hail impact resistant shingles or energy efficient materials are used. Additionally, HD and designer shingle colors will make your home stand out from the rest! Premium/upgraded shingle options are available for installation at an additional cost. 

In terms of materials, Affordable Roofing prefers to use Owens Corning shingles, which includes their lifetime warranty on their products. In terms of labor, Affordable Roofing warrants that the installation of the materials by our team under normal conditions is free from defects for a period of two (2) years. This is referred to as the labor warranty. 

It is important to have your property inspected by a knowledgeable and experienced contractor following a severe storm. Consult with a contractor to determine if an insurance claim should be filed. A knowledgeable contractor should be able to answer any questions you may have and walk you through next steps. 

You should look for a contractor that is knowledgeable and has experience. Contractors should be fully licensed and insured and offer warranties on their labor. 

Typically, roof installation can be completed in one day. However, the time it takes can vary depending on the size of the roof. 

The labor warranty/guarantee Affordable Roofing offers will cover any additional repairs needed in the event of an installation error. We will ensure your new roof is installed properly to prevent leaks. 

You should have your roof inspected at least once a year or after a severe storm. As a homeowner and policy holder, it is your responsibility to maintain your property. 

A roof that has been properly installed, has adequate ventilation, and is inspected yearly for damage should last for several years. 

Replacement is determined on a case-by-case basis. During your initial inspection, we will determine if gutters and downspouts are in need of replacement. If functioning properly by channeling water away from the roof and foundation of your home, replacement will not be necessary.
